THE KING’S TRUST

The Gumball 3000 Foundation became Gold Patrons of The King’s Trust in 2023 following the European Tour Rally.

This exciting new partnership was kick started with a launch evening at Gumball HQ, hearing the The Trust’s Young Ambassador DJ Pebz give an insight into her experience on their Get Started In Music Production course and showcasing her skills on the decks.

It was an inspiring evening which also provided the opportunity to celebrate what is to come from the partnership, including collaborative commercial projects and providing industry experiences for young people.

LAUREUS SPORT FOR GOOD

The Gumball 3000 Foundation has been a long-term supporter and partner of Laureus and has consistently been amongst their biggest donors, working closely with them on an array of incredible sports programmes both domestically and worldwide.

The Gumball 3000 Foundation works with Laureus to identify specific programmes along the rally route, incorporating activities and offering greater visibility to these programmes. It also presents an opportunity for the youth to engage with celebrities participating on the rally.

The Foundation allocates funds to each of these initiatives following the Rally to ensure the programmes are supported.

FOOTBALL BEYOND BORDERS

Football Beyond Borders works with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in London who are disengaged at school, helping them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood. FBB achieves this by providing long-term, intensive support, built around relationships and young people’s passions, in the classroom and beyond and have since onboarded over 2,000 students across numerous schools all over the UK.

As part of the Football Beyond Borders Half Term Tour, The Gumball 3000 Foundation hosted two creative workshops for a group of their students at Gumball HQ. These workshops provided the young people with the opportunity to learn valuable skills across a range of creative disciplines.

During the DJ Masterclass and Graphic Design Workshops, students collaborated to create both a short DJ mix and creative sticker design, representing what team identity means to them. These stickers went into production, allowing students to see their vision come to life.

PROJECT WRECKLESS

Project Wreckless is a capacity development programme targeting youth within its community who are more likely to drop out of school, abuse substances and or engage in criminal activity. Project Wreckless provides them with tools for life through an immersive curriculum, all centred around the restoration of cars.

As part of the Gumball 3000 Foundation Charity Auction held in Nashville during the 2022 Toronto to Miami Rally, The Foundation auctioned off a Project Wreckless 1966 Mustang Fastback car restoration project. This amazing project gave Project Wreckless youth the opportunity to utilise and develop their mechanical skills on both a fun and challenging project, enhancing their skill set for future employment opportunities.

The project also gave auction lot winners the opportunity to engage with the Project Wreckless youth during a workshop visit in San Francisco.

THE SKATEPARK PROJECT

The Skatepark Project (previously the Tony Hawk Foundation) empowers youth and their communities, helping them to create a stronger future through engagement with local leaders to build a space where they can learn essential life lessons that skateboarding teaches.

The Gumball Foundation has supported TSP over many years, providing funding for skatepark builds in the US and hosting vert ramp demos on the rally with Tony and other pro skaters.

The Gumball 3000 Foundation is working with The Skatepark Project on their ‘Supply The Ride’ programme to deliver pre-assembled skateboards and equipment to communities around the world, incorporating this initiative into the rally route over the next 2 years.
